There’s no better way to get in the Halloween spirit than by heading to some of Utah’s most haunting attractions. From houses to farms, fields and forests, there’s no shortage on spooky, bone-chilling experiences that will have you facing your darkest fears. These six best haunted attractions in Utah are a must-visit before Halloween. Here are our favorites.

Asylum 49 Haunted Hospital, Tooele, UT

Nearly 40,000 square-feet of pure insanity await you. Inside you’ll see some familiar faces, like Jack the Ripper and the Leprechaun, each one ready to scare you out of your wits and make you their next victim. They’re open Tuesday through Saturday to give you plenty of chances to get your thrill on.

Castle of Chaos, Midvale, UT

Specializing in “hands on horror,” this place has been touted as the scariest haunted house in the state. Step inside and you’ll see why: many of your favorite TV and movie monsters are roaming in this newly expanded labyrinth of fear. The intensity only grows the deeper you go, and the exit just can’t come soon enough.

Fear Factory, Salt Lake City, UT

Four levels of frightfully fantastic horrors are chock full of twists, turns, and surprises that will keep you on your toes and looking over your shoulder with every step. Corpses are everywhere, but good luck finding which ones are dead, and which ones are just pretending. This place is also complete with a full spectrum of entertainment, like live music and concessions.
