Pleasant View Founders Day Car Show
The Pleasant View Founders Day Car Show is back on for 2021 after 2020 COVID cancelation. You are invited to join me for this free small town car show on the grass. Lots of cool cars. Anything goes so you don’t know what will show up. There are free prize drawings and gifts throughout the afternoon. Traditionally, food trucks are brought in for lunch and refreshments. There is loudest engine contest conducted before the car show awards are presented around 4:00 PM. There is a Salmon bake following the car show at 5:00 PM and every car show entrant gets a buy one, get one (BOGO) ticket for the salmon bake. If you don’t like salmon, you can join me at the Lost Texan BBQ just down the road on 2700 N before you head home, Bring chairs. There is plenty of shade around the park or you can bring your own shade cover. You may want to arrive early between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM to get parked and spiff up the Corvette. You can enter the park on the sidewalk at the corner of Shorty’s Lane and 3000 N or from the parking lot on the East side of the park. The crowd comes down from the parade around 11:30 AM and stays pretty constant until the show ends. You can signup on the webpage and I will pre-register you for the car show or you can register at the car show when you arrive.
